Reo
El Reo (ocasionalmente llamado Rio) es un enemigo de los juegos de Metroid con apariencia de un insecto, aparece como enemigo en el Smashventura.

Un Reo es un enemigo pequeño y común, aparecieron por primera vez en Metroid con apariencia de un insecto volador; cuentan con unas grandes garras, con las que atacan, y pequeñas alas en su parte trasera. Son enemigos resistentes y suelen verse en manadas atacando juntos en algunas partes de Zebes. Cuentan también con algunas subespecies que se distinguen por tener un color de piel diferente, como el rojo o el amarillo.
En Super Smash Bros. 4Editar
Reo aparece como un enemigo más en el modo de juego único de la versión de 3DS, el Smashventura. Su forma de ataque consiste en aparecer volando en la pantalla y luego de un rato volar hacia abajo para embestir contra el jugador y luego volver a subir para repetir lo mismo hasta ser vencido.

- Esta especie de moscas con garras de Metroid salen también en Smashventura. Flotan en el aire y vuelan en forma de "U" cuando te acercas. Son predecibles, y por ello fáciles de burlar, pero no te descuides: sus ataques pueden mandarte a volar. Una forma de vencerlas es agarrarlas y lanzarlas cuando pasen zumbando sobre ti.
